Korean Tornado Omelette

Ingredients (2 servings): 5-6 eggs Tonkatsu Sauce (link)

Fried rice

Chives or Parsley


  1. Scramble the eggs, set aside
  2. Plate up your fried rice so that it's sitting in the middle of the plate, rounded
  3. Hot pan with oil
  4. Pour in half your eggs. With chopsticks, pull in from the edges and begin turning the pan after 5-10 seconds so that the excess egg spills into the pan from the sides
  5. This should take no longer than 10-15 seconds (it should still be runny). Once complete, place on top of your fried rice.
  6. Pour egg on top of rice
  7. Pour tonkatsu sauce around rice & egg
  8. Serve!
